Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for an HR Leader, Military Veteran Leadership Development Program (MVLDP), based in one of our NJ or PA office locations.

This role shapes and delivers against our focus in supporting differentiated transitioning military talent through our Military Veteran Leadership Development Program (MVLDP).

Johnson & Johnson's Military Veteran Leadership Development Program (MVLDP) is a rotational program designed to help successful, highly motivated, experienced, proven military leaders become tomorrow’s enterprise leaders within Johnson & Johnson. The program provides participants with a unique cross-functional, cross-sector rotation model across the enterprise, building enterprise leaders across the value chain. Participants experience a robust integrated curriculum and connections with a deep network of cross-functional and cross-sector leaders to become global enterprise leaders. Johnson & Johnson is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead, evolve the design, expand, scale up, and lead the program management of the MVLDP program.

Key Responsibilities for the HR Leader, Military Veteran Leadership Development Program (MVLDP) include:

  • Lead the MVLDP strategy and end-to-end talent management
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to manage military recruiting approach
  • Create strong curriculum and development experiences, including pre-hire, orientation, networking and learning events, enterprise capability development, for the MVLDP population
  • Collaborate with key business leaders for sponsorship, and identification of meaningful rotation assignments for participants that deliver customized developmental experiences
  • Partner with HR business partners across functions, sector partners on talent strategies and strategic workforce planning methodologies
  • Collaborate with assignment managers to ensure superior execution of the participant experience including performance and development.
  • Develop a sustainable MVLDP alumni engagement program to ensure long-term retention of MVLDPs
  • Assess leading metrics, lagging metrics and industry-leading practices to continuously improve strategy, approach and processes
  • Coach, mentor, advise to develop participants and rotational leaders

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 8 years of professional experience is required; a minimum of 5 years of HR/Talent Management experience and/or United States Armed Forces military experience is preferred
  • Experience shaping talent development initiatives, leading leadership development programs and/or building and implementing talent strategies
  • Demonstrated experience with sophisticated stakeholder-ing across levels and regions
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use internal and external analytics to diagnose situations, determine solutions and implement solutions
  • It is preferred that you have military experience or awareness of US military
  • This position will be located in one of our NJ or PA J&J locations and requires up to 25% travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).



This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.



Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
