We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Manager End-to-End (E2E) Product Planning to be in Titusville NJ! An internal pre-identified candidate for consideration has been identified. However, all applications will be considered.

Purpose: The End-to-End (E2E) Planning organization is responsible for driving the E2E planning processes (Sense & Respond, Scenario Planning, Supply Chain Optimization and Synchronize Network) for the Innovative Medicine Supply Chain portfolio. The Senior Manager, E2E Product Planning, is responsible for the development of the Supply Chain configuration, defines the E2E Net Requirements, aligns Master Production Schedules (MPS) and inventory plans towards inventory targets, and manages the E2E short term exceptions with a high degree of autonomy for the assigned brands, including new products. These planning processes ultimately serve as an input into the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. This is an excellent opportunity for future career growth!

Key Responsibilities:

Configure the E2E SC

  • Defines inventory de-coupling points and develops replenishment strategies

  • Sets supply chain parameters in alignment with sites, e.g., batch sizes, make frequencies, safety stock levels, minimum order quantities, lead times, etc

  • Ensures planning parameters (e.g. safety stock, lead times) are effectively implemented

Ensure the development & alignment of constrained E2E production and inventory plans

  • Drives a multi-platform product-based planning team, directly or indirectly, through the Monthly Planning Cycle (MPC) to ensure implementation of the SC configuration, to ensure supply to patients and to achieve the E2E inventory targets

  • Develops scenarios to avoid or resolve potential constraints and provides this mentorship as needed to others to resolve issues

  • Accountable for allocation of API and bulk, and responsible to work out the allocation of Finished Goods supply to avoid stock-outs, while Customer Management is accountable for the final decision

Takes part in the IBP process

  • Effectively communicates complex scenarios to influence decision-making through IBP process. Supports cross-functional alignment on proposed optimal scenarios

  • Connects the outputs of the Site Supply Review meetings (SRM’s), develops the E2E scenarios and resolutions, and translates early warnings into the IBP processes to provide transparency of risks and opportunities to drive profitable trade-off decisions

Resolves E2E issues

  • Resolves the E2E issues within the STEM process and leads root cause analysis and stock-out analysis

Leads a matrix team

  • Represents Planning function on the Value Chain Team (VCT) and drives the planning improvements aligned with product strategies, get alignment on the E2E MPC, and incorporate the feedback on projects into the plans

This function works closely with various partners including Demand and Supply Planning Managers, Value Chain Leaders (VCLs), Launch Management, Customer Management (CM), Manufacturing Technical Operations (MTO), Finance, and Procurement.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree is required. An advanced degree is preferred

  • Supply Chain certifications (APICS / IBF) and Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications are desirable

Experience and Skills:

Required

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant supply chain experience

  • Supply chain planning experience, preferably in a multi-echelon supply chain

  • Manufacturing, Supply Chain and/or Logistics experience in the Health Care Industry or related industries

  • Experience working across organizational boundaries in a global environment

  • High proficiency with Microsoft software packages (Excel, PowerPoint)

  • SAP/OMP experience

Preferred

  • Demonstrated experience with several of the following processes: inventory management and inventory entitlement, supply chain management, supply planning/master production scheduling, scenario analysis, IBP, process excellence (Lean, 6sigma), and/or systems (SAP R/3, APO, BW, OMP)

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist

  • Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different departments and all levels

  • Uses business and financial competence to influence E2E decisions & key outcomes

  • Strong communication, analytical and quantitative skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex scenarios to senior leadership with minimal guidance

Other

  • This position may require up to 15% of domestic and international travel

  • Flexible hours needed on ad hoc basis to accommodate working with different time zones

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
