This role serves as the single accountable business leader for defining, shaping, and deploying the global Source template while ensuring fit‑for‑business outcomes across regions, sites, and platforms.
The Source WSL operates at the intersection of business strategy, supply chain execution, and digital transformation, partnering closely with Global Process Owners (P2P, Source), Platform Leads, Product Owners, Technology Partners, and Business Adoption teams. The role balances strategic ownership with hands‑on delivery leadership, ensuring value realization, standardization, and sustainable business adoption.

Ensure alignment between Source processes and upstream/downstream value streams (Plan, Make, Deliver, Quality).
Global Template & Solution Confirmation Leadership
Lead and support Solution Confirmation activities for Surgery sites, ensuring adoption of the Global Template unless a clear business gap is validated.
Facilitate and/or oversee Source workshops, design reviews, demos, and sign‑offs, including:
Global design approvals
Testing phases (FIT, SIT, BST, UAT)
Data readiness and cutover activities
Drive a “process first” mindset, minimizing customization while safeguarding business continuity.

Supplier collaboration and performance improvements
Inventory and working capital optimization
Standardized sourcing and procurement processes
Increased agility for new business and commercial models
Partner with Finance and Strategy teams to ensure Source‑related value is clearly articulated, tracked, and realized.

Serve as the lead Source representative to Surgery leadership, Transcend governance forums, and cross‑platform teams.
Collaborate closely with:
Surgery Platform Leaders
Global Process Owners (Source / P2P)
Product Owners and Technology partners (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SCC)
Business Adoption & Change teams
Influence senior stakeholders in an environment of high complexity, ambiguity, and interdependency.
SME & Network Enablement
Provide functional direction and prioritization to Source SMEs across regions and sites.
Ensure SMEs are effectively onboarded, focused on high‑value topics, and engaged beyond solution confirmation through deployment and hypercare phases.
Build sustainable Source capability and clarity of ownership post‑deployment.
