We are searching for the best talent for Learning Partner.

The Learning Partner role is part of the Strategy, Portfolio, & Operations organization (SP&O). This role is an active contributor in achieving the outcomes for SP&O’s Learning, Development, and Change Readiness strategic pillar: adaptable and empowered R&D teams and team systems, building individual capabilities to enable performance and development, and successful implementation and adoption of R&D transformation. 

This role plays a pivotal role in collaborating with R&D and Learning teams to identify learning needs and implement effective training solutions that drive organizational success. The Learning Partner will serve as the primary liaison with R&D clients, ensuring that learning initiatives align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct performance consulting with R&D teams to assess learning needs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement tailored learning strategies that address performance gaps and enhance overall performance.
  • Collaborate with Learning colleagues to design and deliver impactful training programs based on adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
  • Apply J&J learning technologies to enhance training delivery and engagement.
  • Facilitate data gathering workshops and training sessions, fostering a collaborative and interactive learning environment.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics to continuously improve learning outcomes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for learning initiatives.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in learning and development to inform best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Provide guidance and support to other Learning colleagues in the application of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Required -

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Adult Learning, Psychology, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with a focus on performance consulting, instructional design, and learning execution.
  • In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, application of learning technologies, and evaluation of training effectiveness.
  • Proven track record of successfully partnering with business teams to identify learning needs and deliver impactful training solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing training effectiveness and making data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.

Preferred -

  • Experience using and operating inside Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning development tools, including EdCast, Cornerstone, Xyleme.
  • Fully proficient skill in the use of business productivity (MS Office suite, Power BI, Mural) and meeting applications (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.)
  • Experience in learning, leadership development and talent management initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills, with an ability to lead cross-functional team efforts.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
