Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics' company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Overview
Our Supply Chain Project Lead is responsible to lead projects, issues, strategic programs, and drive operational excellence between DePuy Synthes and our external manufacturing partners and strategic collaborators. This supply chain-based role will lead multi-functional teams to ensure that projects relating to Patient Safety, Quality, Compliance, Service, Innovation, Growth, and Value are executed to exceed business metrics. This exciting role will be responsible for creation of a project business case and executing strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities
Provide business and technical insights into Value Stream Product Strategy Roadmaps and partner with Value Stream Leaders to identify, prioritize and execute E2E supply chain projects and develop project business cases
Shape and lead initiatives to ensure supply chain reliability, quality, compliance and profitability/cost improvements
Lead/Execute projects in line with standard project management guidelines
Lead and resolve issues which relate to Reliability, Quality and Compliance improvements. Lead supply continuity improvement and disruption recovery actions
Instill and maintain a sense of urgency and customer focus within the Supply Chain team in collaboration with external manufacturing partners and strategic collaborators.
Support execution of new products and/or integration of new products into base business LCM processes, ensuring successful supply execution to deliver growth for new products or newly stabilized products.
Lead and assist in the development of GP improvement multi-year roadmap and continuous cost improvement in GP and COGS aligned to the Product Strategy Roadmap.
Ensure that projects are performed in compliance with the Quality System and drives efforts to improve a culture of quality and compliance
Develop strong business partner relationships throughout the organization to drive alignment on strategic priorities
Develop in-depth understanding of various business processes, governances and supporting systems and the tools/templates used for project & portfolio management
Demonstrate strong project management skills, including accurate and effective project planning, creation of shared team goals, delivering project in line with established milestone dates, resource management, capital/expense management, developing and executing communication plans, leading resolution of risks & issues, risk management and balancing multiple activities to accomplish goals.
Qualifications
Education:
Minimum Bachelor's degree required; Engineering, Science, or a related Field is preferred
Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or a related Field is preferred
Project management methodology certification (e.g., PMP/PMI, FPX) is preferred
Required:
Minimum 4+ years of relevant work experience (4+ years of relevant experience with Master’s degree, 2+ years of relevant experience with Ph.D)
Experience in Manufacturing, Distribution, Planning, Project Management, Procurement, Engineering, or R&D in a Healthcare Industry
Project Management experience, including developing and implementing processes for new or existing products/process and/or new technologies
Demonstrated ability applying project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and organizational change techniques
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills (written, presentation, meeting management, documentation) to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization
Experience working in a complex matrix organization and achieving results through leveraging internal and external partners
Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizing skills
Experience in data analytics
Preferred:
Supply Chain, Operations, and/or Manufacturing experience
Familiarity with such functions as R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and/or Quality
Medical Device industry experience is a plus
Experience in applying Six Sigma and Lean methodologies; certification is a plus
Knowledge/experience with master production schedule process, inventory management, supply chain management
Experience working in a global environment
Understanding of financial processes such as P&L calculation and COGS
Other:
Minimum language required: English (mandatory)
Requires up to 10% domestic and international travel

$94,000.00 - $151,800.00Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
