We are searching for the best talent for a CAR-T Warehouse Supervisor to join our Team in Raritan, NJ.

Janssen Biotech, Inc., one of the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, and Legend Biotech USA Inc., have entered into a global, strategic collaboration to develop, manufacture, and commercialize a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy. This innovative strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of two companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy CAR T platform and investigational treatment.

In this role the CAR-T Warehouse Supervisor will function as a part of operations and perform an array of functions that include receiving and processing incoming stock for manufacturing including patient apheresis materials, inventory management, picking and filling orders from stock, filling, packing, and shipping orders. You will have the daily responsibility to lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse operators to ensure all functions are performed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team to ensure customer orders are process, shipped timely and accurately while meeting customer and business requirements

  • Assist in investigations of all deviations to process and document findings in accordance with Quality Management System

  • Lead safety initiatives to ensure execution of all Federal, State and J&J Safety regulations and guidelines

  • Form and participate on cross-functional teams that encompass various departments and multi-level members, as well as partner with organizations outside the organization

  • Adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and assist in regulatory inspection /perform safety and quality audits

  • Ensure accurate handling, storage, labeling and safe handling of materials in all areas

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma is required, Associate’s Degree and/or Bachelor's degree focusing in Business - Supply Chain/Logistics preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience

  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and Inventory Management experience

  • Cold chain supply chain knowledge; includes handling of multiple temperature conditions such as 2-8C, 30C,

  • 70C, -80C, and -120C

  • Cryopod Filling Station and Cryofreezer/ LN2 Handling experience

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • Proven initiative, creativity, assertiveness, and leadership skills

Preferred:

  • People leadership or supervisory experience

  • Experience within any of the following areas: distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Practices (GxP) preferred

Other:

  • Availability to work a day shift (8.5 hours) between the hours of 0700-1730

  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and to stand for a long period of time are required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$79,000.00 - $127,650.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
• Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
• Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
• Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
• Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
• Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
• Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
• Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
• Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
• Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
