Job Description:

Position Type: Hourly 

Mercedes-Benz of Farmington is hiring Seasonal Part-Time Service Valets to support the Service department through the busy summer months. This position is responsible for moving vehicles to and from the building for customers awaiting service.

What You'll Do: 

• Greet and acknowledge every customer with a smile and friendly words.
• Open doors and assist customers entering and leaving.
• Ensure the building premise is free of clutter at all times.
• Direct guests to the reception area or introduce them to appropriate departmental Manager/Advisor.
• Actively listen and respond to guest questions.
• Must follow all traffic laws and company policies regarding safe driving. 
• Able to effectively park, move and retrieve vehicles without causing damage.
• Maintain new and used vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenish all vehicle fluids as needed and replace batteries when necessary.
• Keep new and used vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the General Manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Accurately make key tags for vehicles.
• Wash and vacuum customer vehicles.
• Prepare customer vehicles for delivery following service.
• Pick-up and return customer vehicles from their home or office for service.

What You Need:

• Punctual and regular attendance.
• Able to drive and operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• You should be a positive team player: our company successes have always been built on mature and dedicated teams who love what they do.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• You must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) - that's a big one, if your MVR is a hot mess, we quite possibly cannot hire you.
