Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Type: Flat Rate
Pay Range: $33 – $60 per flat-rate hour

Responsibilities
Review and complete repair orders as assigned by the service team.
Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify service needs.
Prepare accurate time, labor, and parts estimates.
Carry out precise repairs across vehicle systems—engine, suspension, steering, brakes, and climate control—following BMW standards.
Conduct final quality checks to ensure safety and performance.
Document all work thoroughly and maintain accurate service records.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and properly use dealership and personal tools.
Collaborate effectively with Service Advisors and Parts Department staff.
Stay current through BMW-specific training programs.

What You Need
Experience – 5+ years as a mainline technician in a dealership or professional service center preferred.
Certifications – BMW Certification preferred; ASE and BMW High-Voltage certifications are a plus; Smog Technician certification a plus.
Technical Skills – Ability to work independently with strong motivation to continue developing knowledge and skills.
Tools – A complete, up-to-date set of personal tools.
License – Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
Professionalism – Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to “fix it right the first time.”
Team Player – Ability to work collaboratively with advisors, parts staff, and fellow technicians.
Customer Focus – Dedication to delivering top-quality service and repair.

Adequate physical ability including sufficient manual dexterity to operate hand tools, machinery, computers, diagnostic tools, and other shop machines in order to perform the required job functions.
Visual acuity to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away. Requires extended visual inspections of work area and components, as well as reading and entering information on computer screens.
Must be able to sit or stand in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
Adequate physical ability to maneuver inside, outside, and under a vehicle as required for diagnosis and repair.
Requires frequent reaching, bending, repetitive hand movements, twisting, standing, walking, sitting, squatting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular work shift.
Requires frequent lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions in both summer and winter.
Regular, punctual attendance is required.
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional dealership environment.
Scheduled shifts will be determined by the manager, with rotating shifts throughout the work week.
Must maintain a clean, safe working environment at all times.
