Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Internet Manager to oversee our online sales operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales management, particularly in the automotive industry, and will be responsible for driving online leads, managing the sales pipeline, and enhancing customer engagement through effective communication strategies. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and a keen understanding of digital marketing techniques to maximize our online presence and sales performance.

Duties

  • Manage and optimize the dealership's online sales initiatives to increase lead generation and conversion rates.

  • Develop and implement strategies for outbound sales, including cold calling and upselling to potential customers.

  • Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, manage the sales pipeline, and ensure timely follow-ups.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content that drives traffic to our website and enhances brand visibility.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

  • Conduct public speaking engagements or presentations as needed to promote dealership offerings.

  • Oversee inventory management processes to ensure accurate stock levels are maintained for online listings.

  • Train and support sales staff on best practices for internet sales techniques, including negotiation strategies and high-end sales tactics.

  • Analyze sales data using retail math to identify trends, forecast demand, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or automobile sales is highly desirable.

  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal closures.

  • Familiarity with CRM software for effective sales management.

  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.

  • Experience in retail sales with a focus on customer service excellence.

  • Ability to manage inventory control effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Public speaking experience is advantageous for engaging with customers and presenting dealership offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive sales, internet sales, or BDC management

  • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems and lead management tools

  • Comfortable using digital communication tools (text, email, video, etc.)

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and KPIs

  • Professional phone and written communication skills

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed

  • Valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
