Salary Exempt: $75,000 - $85,000/annum
Role Expectations:

- Supports management’s goal of utilizing the electronic features of our computer system, as opposed to paper

Essential Knowledge & Responsibilities for
- Train new hires in NextGen& Department Workflow
- Update and keep current all training tools and manuals for collections and BOS team.
- Traveling may be required to different locations due to training purposes.
- Assist with logins for new hires, Ins websites, Phreesia & Waystar
- Understand and monitor Ring Central Center Queue
- Review live and recorded calls to confirm policy and protocol are being followed
- Train New BOS Team Members regarding policy and protocol as well as re-train team members when necessary
- Directly works with Insurance Carrier’s/staff to resolve payment issues, contract issues and to reduce outstanding Accounts Receivable
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of all Insurance companies; their policies, guidelines and contracts. This is essential so accurate guidance and information can be shared with the staff.
- Assist Jr Collectors, Collectors, Payments Department, Refund specialists and other staff with questions.
- Cross train and support team to ensure coverage
- Comply with all policies and procedures as well as make suggestions for improvement in processes
- Create ways to motivate and educate the team. (ideas on customer service skills, creative ways to speak to patients, monitoring insurance issues.
- Reporting all issues/findings to his or her immediate supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Managers
- Assist Management with special projects
- Order supplies for staff and new hires as needed
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Certification Professional Coder (CPC)
- Knowledge of excel, word,
- Collection and Customer service background
- Monday.com helpful but not necessary
- Epic experience preferred
- Will need to learn NextGen, Phreesia, Ring Central, internal processes
