The CRM Specialist – Junior Salesforce Administrator will report directly to the VP, Director of CRM & Corporate Intelligence. This role involves planning, developing, and executing essential administrative functions within CRM platforms such as Salesforce for all Hilco OPCO companies and businesses. Effective collaboration within a team environment is required, involving the Chief Marketing Officer, Head of Global Business Development Operations, SVP, Marketing, VP, Director of CRM and Corporate Intelligence, as well as other firms and divisions as necessary. This position combines CRM system administration, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to promote business growth and enhance customer engagement.

Responsibilities

Junior Salesforce Administration:

• Perform day-to-day maintenance of CRM and related platforms, including user account management, role assignments, and permission settings.

• Create and manage reports, dashboards, and workflows to support business objectives.

Implement automations within CRM platforms, such as creating flows, validation rules, and email alerts.

• Troubleshoot and resolve CRM issues, collaborating with stakeholders and vendors.

• Oversee data imports/exports, ensuring data integrity through cleansing, de-duplication, and validation.

• Document processes, updates, and configurations to maintain an accurate knowledge base.

Project Management:

• Support the long-term CRM roadmap, focusing on the business KPI’s, adoption, and engagement.

• Collaborate with business development and marketing to identify and execute use case solutions and targeted go-to-market campaigns.

• Partner with stakeholders to refine CRM workflows and implement best practices.

Data Quality and Reporting:

• Ensure consistent data quality through routine QA processes, including regular audits, cleansing, and standardization.

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track adoption, engagement, and campaign performance metrics.

• Use Power BI and Excel to analyze data and provide actionable insights for business improvement.

• Assist, monitor and manage corporate intelligence tools, such as Pitchbook, CapitalIQ, and Debtwire, etc. to support business research efforts.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure CRM strategies align with organizational goals.

• Train users on CRM functionalities, including Salesforce, mobile apps, and add-ons, to enhance system adoption and efficiency.

• Communicate updates, recommendations, and insights to stakeholders clearly and effectively.

System Enhancements and Process Improvement:

• Collaborate with the VP, Director of CRM, and vendor to implement system enhancements based on feedback and business needs.

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and introduce automation to improve efficiency.

• Stay current on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, applying updates to the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Analytics, or a related field.

• 1-3 years of experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, SugarCRM) in an administrative or campaign support role.

• Foundational knowledge of Salesforce administration (e.g., creating users, reports, workflows, and automation).

• Experience with Salesforce APEX code is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. • Hands-on experience with data tools, including imports/exports, quality, and automations.

In compliance with the New York & Illinois Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role in Illinois is between $80,000-$90,000. This salary range does not include discretionary bonus or other forms of compensation or benefits which are offered in connection with this job. Several factors are considered when determining a candidate’s compensation. Please note that the salary range listed for this position is based on the level of experience outlined in the job description. If a candidate's experience differs from the requirements, the salary may be adjusted accordingly.
