Job Description:

Position: Processing Technician Specialist

Are you ready to take center stage in the exciting realm of gaming operations? Accel Entertainment is seeking a talented Processing Technician Specialist to join our team. This pivotal role involves currency collections, ATM and Redemption machine replenishment, and maintaining daily vault accountability. We're looking for an individual with precision, dependability, and outstanding organizational skills. The ideal candidate possesses a professional presence, tenacity, and the ability to adapt, organize, and multi-task with ease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process lockbox cash receipts with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Verify and maintain currency counts, managing inventory levels and vault accountability.
  • Conduct data entry of cash receipts, including coding and filing.
  • Perform daily/monthly bank and cash reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with field teams, and various departments to streamline communication.
  • Execute timely and accurate processing of cash collections, counting, separating, packing, and unpacking currency.
  • Contribute to basic accounting and counting skills, strapping/unstrapping, sealing/unsealing bags, and more.
  • Assist with additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in banking, casino, or financial industry teller roles is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel is a must.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with precision.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Capability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
  • Versatility and enthusiasm to adapt within a dynamic work environment.
  • Minimum 21 years of age, with the ability to obtain/maintain a Terminal Handler’s License from the Illinois Gaming Board.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Active engagement, including standing, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing.
  • Analyzing financial data and utilizing hand and finger dexterity, including keyboard use.
  • Physical requirements such as climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
  • Capability to lift/push weights up to 40 pounds.
  • Moderate noise levels in the work environment.

Base Pay Range:

$18.50 per hour

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
