Job Description:

Role

Assist the Data Engineers and Data Analysts with reporting needs on project deliverables.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide support and resolution for data issues escalated from the help desk.

• Assist data engineers and analysts with reporting tasks, BI dashboards, and monitoring ETL/ELT processes. 

• Assist with database design, reporting and programming tasks of moderate complexity.

• Gathers input from peers and management on complex situations.

• Uses appropriate discretion in handling confidential information.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

• Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.

Experience

No prior experience required, however candidate should possess interest in Information Technology and/or application development or databases or data mining.

Education/Certifications/Licenses

High school diploma or equivalent required. College sophomore or higher working toward a bachelor degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science or other applicable business degree with interest in application development.

Skills

• Quality written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

• Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others, primarily inside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information.
