Job Description:

Supports and coordinates information technology security needs throughout the organization. Works with team members within IT to support software application and data needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provides support and resolution for application issues that are escalated from the help desk.

• Assists with configuration and administration of a variety of software applications.

• Assist with database design, reporting and programming tasks of moderate complexity.

• Gathers input from peers and management on complex situations.

• Uses appropriate discretion in handling confidential information.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

• Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures.

• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.

Experience

• No prior experience required, however candidate should possess interest in Information Technology and/or application development or databases or data mining.

Education/Certifications/Licenses

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• College sophomore or higher working toward a bachelor degree in Information Systems Technology,

• Computer Science or other applicable business degree with interest in application development.

Skills

• Quality written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

• Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.

• Work involves personal contact with others, primarily inside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information.
