SUMMARYESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate closely with peer Director of Deposits and Payment Products & Experience to ensure alignment across product portfolios, ensuring consistent processes and best practices.
Champion digital innovation and fintech partnerships to enhance product delivery, user experience, and operational efficiency.
Partner with Marketing to design and execute promotional campaigns that drive growth and member engagement.
Hire, coach, and develop product managers within the Consumer Lending domain.
Oversee monthly pricing coordination for lending products, ensuring market competitiveness and profitability.
Manage the full product lifecycle, including ideation, development, launch, performance tracking, and sunset planning.
Evaluate market trends, member needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and remove bottlenecks.
Establish and monitor success metrics, adjusting tactics and strategies to meet revenue and profitability goals.
Ensure product consistency and alignment across all distribution channels.
Stay current on regulatory changes and ensure compliance across all consumer lending product lines.
Evaluate growth options, assess new opportunities, and identify bottlenecks.
Proactively evolve product features, efficiency, quality, pricing strategies and methods, profitability, and technology-based experiences (mobile, tablet, online)
EDUCATIONAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience; MBA and/or CPA required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, with a strong focus on consumer lending.
Minimum 2 years of experience managing and developing product teams.
Proven experience in digital product management, fintech, or technology-driven financial services.
Strong presentation skills with experience communicating to leadership audiences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
ADDITIONAL/IMPORTANT SKILLSETS
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence and collaborate across departments and with peer leaders.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements, product performance data, and manage product P&L.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to support product strategy and decision making.
High-level writing, presentation, and storytelling capabilities.
Ability to lead and motivate virtual and cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Willingness to work extended hours as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, the employee must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. All employees must be able to communicate face to face or through technology with or without reasonable accommodation. Employee will be asked to sit and stand for various increments of time, and to lift/push up 10 lbs. Clerical office duties on various forms of technology are required. All positions that have lending responsibilities must comply with all requirements under the SAFE ACT, as well as the Credit Union’s policies and procedures related to the SAFE ACT. This includes an obligation on the employee’s part to ensure that NMLA registration pertaining to the SAFE ACT is kept current. The employee must notify the Credit Union within 30 days of any changes that need to be reflected on the NMLS registry.
