What you'll do:

  • Lead and supervise a crew of 10–15 electricians, coordinating daily work to meet project timelines
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor labour, productivity, and materials
  • Interpret drawings, blueprints, and electrical code to execute installations
  • Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems, including low-voltage and power distribution
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Lead safety meetings, enforce site safety, and conduct quality inspections
  • Coordinate with the site superintendent and other trades to maintain workflow and avoid delays
  • Track project progress, report updates, and manage documentation (timecards, daily reports, scope changes)
  • Support planning, including manpower forecasting and material take-offs
  • Train and mentor apprentices and crew members
  • Manage materials, inventory, tools, and site organization
  • Assist with commissioning, deficiencies, and project turnover

What you'll bring:

  • Licensed Journeyman Electrician with valid First Aid, AWP, and Fall Protection
  • Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract
  • 4–5+ years as a Lead Hand or Foreperson in commercial/residential construction
  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
  • Proficient in conduit installation, power distribution, fire alarms, and underground work
  • Strong troubleshooting, installation, and blueprint reading abilities
  • Proven leadership with experience managing crews and coordinating work
