JOB SUMMARY

  • As a People & Talent Intern with Schellman, you'll support the team's data-driven approach to talent strategy and employer branding. You'll work on building dashboards and visualizations that surface insights from platforms like Glassdoor and Indeed, and contribute to a broader employer brand project that you'll present at the end of the internship.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Data & Visualization

  • Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations to support People & Talent reporting and insights

  • Gather and analyze data from employer brand platforms including Glassdoor and Indeed

  • Assist with data management and reporting in Workday

Employer Brand

  • Contribute to the development of Schellman's employer brand strategy and supporting materials

  • Create visually compelling assets using Canva or Adobe to communicate insights and initiatives

  • Prepare and deliver a final capstone presentation summarizing employer brand findings and recommendations

Collaboration & Operations

  • Collaborate with the People & Talent team on active projects and initiatives

  • Adhere to project schedules and keep team members informed of task progress

  • Attend team meetings and contribute ideas and insights

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Interest in people analytics, talent strategy, or employer branding

  • Experience or coursework in business analytics or data analytics

  • Proficiency in Power BI and Excel for data visualization and reporting

  • Familiarity with Canva or Adobe for design and visual storytelling

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment

EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Human Resources, or a related field

  • Junior or Senior level standing preferred

  • Experience through coursework, internships, or projects involving data analysis or people operations

Connecting, collaborating and continuous education are also highly valued and therefore we require some travel annually for our Internal Service Delivery roles, which can include in-person training, team meet-ups, and strategy meetings. Service Delivery team members will also be required to travel based on business and client needs.
