Position: Inside Sales Associate I
Job Summary
This Inside Sales Associate manages assigned accounts and programs, focusing on revenue growth through strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering exceptional service.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Develop sales goals and drive account growth by building strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Present and demonstrate the value of products and services to prospective or existing buyers and other decision makers.
- Manage customer quote requests by coordinating with Estimating, reviewing finalized quotes, presenting them to customers, and negotiating terms as needed.
- Collaborate across departments to support order fulfillment and program planning.
- Partner with Sales and Production to oversee new product launches and ensure smooth implementation through established processes.
- Manage prospects through the sales cycle and maintain opportunity pipeline.
- Compile and analyze data to prepare reports for management.
- Investigate and assist to resolve customer complaints.
- Keep customer information and activity up to date in CRM database.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 4+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical selling role
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Proficient with MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and use of a PC
- Ability to learn and use a CRM (Salesforce) and sales enablement tools
- Ability to learn and use and interpret reporting metrics from company database
