Job Description:

Join Job Duck as a Receptionist and Scheduling Coordinator and become an integral part of a dynamic, diverse legal team specializing in Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Administration, and Real Estate Law. In this role, you’ll support attorneys and paralegals by managing calendars, organizing documents, and ensuring smooth communication with clients and courts. Your work will directly contribute to efficient case management and exceptional client service. • Salary Range: from $1,015 USD to $1,100 USD.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate with attorneys and paralegals to support case management

  • Assist in preparing for hearings and legal proceedings

  • Manage calendars and schedule meetings and court dates

  • Prepare forms and ensure accurate e-filing after client signatures

  • Organize, file, and maintain legal documents

  • Serve as a backup receptionist and handle incoming/outgoing calls

• Time Zone: CST (Chicago, Illinois)
• Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST
• Required Tools/Software:
• Microsoft Office Suite
• E-filing platforms
• Calendar management tools
• Document organization systems

Required Skills:

•Minimum of 1 year of experience in a client-facing role, such as customer service or sales.
•Advanced/native-level English skills (both written and spoken)

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes
• Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
• Respectful and inclusive in a diverse work environment
• Friendly and approachable demeanor
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
