Senior Technical Operations Analyst

What does an exceptional Senior Technical Operations Analyst do?

As a Senior Technical Operations Analyst, you are critical to ensuring accurate and timely host processing for all of our clients, both internal and external. You will be working in a multi-platform environment that includes both Unisys and IBM systems with higher emphasis on IBM knowledge. Your daily tasks will include Premier Host application release support. Which includes the testing of upcoming releases, the implementation of the Premier release, and support after the implementation is complete.  You will be Working closely with the Application Development and be responsible to follow up on any application issue that are release related and at times, could be day to day support.  You will be responsible for ensuring that nightly file integrity issues are resolved each day for all locations.  

What you will do:

• Support application Releases and Day to Day Operations

• Support conversion, merger, deconversion activities from a Core host perspective.

• Ensure File integrity errors are resolved each day

• Assist in providing research and resolution of problem situations

• Work closely with Development to provide input on what may need changes to enhance or fix the application moving forward

• Work well in a team environment

What you will need to have:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in data processing with emphasis on Computer Operations Understanding of basic programming logic

What would be nice to have:

• Premier Software experience

• Two year degree in Computer Science

• 3 years’ experience in data processing with emphasis on iSeries Computer Operations and AJS scheduler. Multi platform, Unisys and IBM knowledge is preferred.
