SAFe/Agile Strategic Program Manager2
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for owning and driving success of customer projects and portfolios from start to finish, participating in project reviews, managing disposition of issues and project scope changes, managing project plans created collaboratively with you and your project sponsor, and reviewing team project work tasks with objectives to stay on time and on budget. You will provide status and progress reviews and conduct risk management analysis as required. You will proactively seek advice and support from your client Project Sponsor and PMO office as needed to ensure full compliance to Jade and client method and project requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Information technology, computer science, engineering, business or related courses
- At least 7 years of direct experience in a full-time Program or Project Management role with a proven record of success
- Consulting experience helpful
- Experienced in project progress and metrics reporting for project teams and customers
- Able to use various project management methodologies, including Safe, agile and waterfall
- Able to balance critical issue resolution and competing priorities
- Interested in further growth opportunities and training in Project Management capabilities and methods
- Previous formal training in project management preferred, including SAFe, Agile Alliance, PMI and PRINCE2 methodologies
- SAFe certification preferred either 5.0 or 6.0
- Strong communication skills - able to collaborate with internal and client stakeholders, including business analysts, business users, architects, client relations, project managers and sponsors
Client-required skills and experience:
- Program Planning, leading team to understand outcome requirements and build project plan with risks and dependencies
- Assessing cross-functional dependencies
- Cross-functional collaboration and influencing
- Setting up governance forums like Core Leads, OpCo, Steerco
- Executive status reporting
- Ability to drive strategic, technical and tactical discussions with business units
- Advanced skills with Powerpoint (audience will be P5, P5+1)
- Ability to quickly learn ServiceNow Project Management and Agile tools
- Working with teams spread across multiple locations
