Pay range: $20.67 - $25.96/hour

YOU WILL BE: 

As a Member Service Representative you will be a detail-oriented, self-starter who wishes to grow with a single-SEG credit union. You must multi-task accurately and quickly respond to provide resolution from multiple channels. You must demonstrate strong attention to detail, keep work organized, be capable and willing to communicate on a professional/business level and possess basic business acumen. You must work independently as well as in a team environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Meet and greet members both in person and on the phone in a professional manner

  • Set expectations by providing over-the-top member service at the point of first contact

  • Provide accurate answers to inquiries about account balances, transaction details and methods of obtaining credit union services

  • Route incoming requests to proper departments

  • Ensure office runs smoothly – including supply management and ordering

  • Perform over-the-counter transactions for walk-in members which includes loan payments, deposits, address changes and other account maintenance as needed

  • Route requests for other transactions such as payroll deduction changes and loan applications through proper channels

  • Process and/or route daily mail, email, text and inquiry items

  • Organize and maintain file documentation for payroll deductions and ACH transactions

  • Set up and maintain new online account access, including password resets

  • Respond to member inquiries through the online account review systems

  • Provide general administrative support to loan officers and management

  • Research debit card and checking account transaction history to re-create balance availability

  • Resolve member complaints and communicate resolution to proper channels

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) strongly preferred

  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in a credit union/banking environment, financial call center and/or sales of financial products and services or equivalent degree in finance or general business

  • Candidate should enjoy providing over-the-top, friendly, outgoing member service while delivering relevant and accurate information to meet the overall goals of the organization

  • Must work both independently, and as a team member while demonstrating a high level of integrity

  • Must be dependable, prompt, and capable of problem resolution while adhering to policy and procedure guidelines

  • Must have general/working knowledge and ability to explain financial institution terminology, structure, and organization

  • Must be organized and demonstrate strong attention to detail

  • Must effectively communicate information, both verbal and written to a wide range of audience

  • Comfortable working onsite 5 days a week in our Dallas office
