Who are we looking for ?

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Finance and Procurement, the Indirect Procurement Manager will be responsible for materials and services purchasing required to support our manufacturing facilities to optimize quality, vendor service, optimal supply inventory and cost. The scope of this role is to support all Solina North America operations. This position is a fully in-office position.

Essential Functions

• Works with facility department leads to fully understand supply and service needs and requirements.
• Develops standard specifications to meet the requirements for departments and business.
• Create approved vendor list for facility personnel to use. Keep vendor list updated. 
• Develops and administers RFIs and RFPs (as appropriate), analyzes responses, evaluates vendor capabilities, and evaluates vendor relationships (as applicable to procurement)
• Works with Procurement to contract vendor materials and services. 
• Places purchase orders for non-stock materials.
• Coordinates with the facilities to define procedures for procuring goods and services.
• Analyzes non-stock inventory usages and works with facility management to ensure the proper inventory levels are set. 
• Works closely with European colleagues to educate, influence, lead, and support indirect material sourcing initiatives.

Required Skills, Education, Experience

• Strong analytical skills required.
• 7+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven ability to build processes and procedures from the ground up.
• Experience in manufacturing industry, particularly food manufacturing, preferred.
• Advanced mathematical skills; specifically good skills in evaluating pricing/value.
• Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

The compensation range for this position is $105,000 - $130,000 annually.
