Job Description

Build and grow your own book of business in a high-demand installed services industry.
We’re hiring a Lead Sales Representative – Garage Doors & Installed Services in the Fredericksburg area and surrounding territories to develop builder, contractor, homeowner, and light commercial accounts, with a primary focus on garage doors and additional opportunities to sell a broader range of installed products and services.

This role is ideal for someone with years of garage door industry experience who can excel in garage door sales, bring strong product knowledge to the team, and help strengthen this area of the business. While this is primarily a sales role, there is real opportunity for advancement and increased responsibility as the garage door department continues to grow, with the potential to develop into more of a sales and management role over time.

What You’ll Be Selling

Primary focus: garage doors
Additional opportunities include:

  • Insulation (spray foam, fiberglass, cellulose, air sealing, etc.)
  • Gutters
  • Shower doors
  • Fireplaces
  • Wire shelving
  • Frameless mirrors
  • Afterpaint services
  • And more

This position is a strong fit for someone with garage door experience who can use that background to stand out with customers and increase earning potential by offering additional installed services when appropriate.

What You Can Expect

  • Base salary + uncapped commission
  • Typical Year 1 earnings: $70K–$110K
  • Year 2 potential: $110K–$150K
  • Year 3+ potential: $150K–$250K+
  • Top performers: $250K–$400K+
  • Sign-on bonus potential for experienced candidates and/or those with existing customer relationships

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prospecting and developing builder, contractor, homeowner, and light commercial accounts
  • Primarily focusing on garage door sales in your territory
  • Building long-term relationships and becoming the go-to resource for your clients
  • Conducting job site visits, measuring, evaluating scope, and identifying the best solution for the project
  • Creating and presenting custom proposals
  • Managing projects from sale through completion
  • Working supplemental homeowner leads provided by the company as a secondary part of the role
  • Generating repeat and referral business
  • Using your garage door knowledge and experience to help support this side of the business
  • Monitoring market conditions, competitors, and opportunities in your territory

Who This Is For

  • Experience in sales and/or garage doors, construction, home improvement, or related installed services
  • Existing builder/contractor relationships are a strong plus
  • Someone with garage door industry experience who can contribute more than just sales volume
  • Relationship-driven and comfortable developing accounts
  • Self-motivated and willing to generate new business
  • Competitive and results-oriented

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license (local travel required throughout the Fredericksburg area and surrounding territories)
  • Ability to access construction sites and inspect project conditions as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Minimum age: 18

Compensation Range

$30,000.00 - $250,000.00

The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
