Hiring for a Receiving Clerk

Hiring for a Receiving Clerk on 1st Shift to work with the Inbound Team.

Monday - Friday from 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Schedule Inbound freight and process documentation and inspections.
  • Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal partners to schedule and maintain appointments – utilizing methods of Outlook and our WMS.
  • Prepare paperwork and receipt documentation for associates and remove barriers as needed.
  • Assess and assign priority loads as defined in partnership with department leadership.
  • Effectively communicate with associates and display collaboration in completing task assignments.
  • Follow all established standard operating procedures for given task areas.
  • Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management.
  • Responsible for accurately and safely completing assigned tasks.
  • Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization.

Qualifications

  • A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it
  • General computer skills for basic data entry
  • Maintain a professional demeanor representing Ferguson with non-Ferguson employees (drivers).

Pay Range:

$15.00 - $36.50

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
