Ferguson is seeking expert Welders to fill immediate needs in our brand new semi-automatic fabrication shop. If you have pipe welding experience in the commercial or industrial HVAC industry, this is the position for you!

Position Details:

Location | Onsite - Riviera Beach, Fl

Schedule | Monday – Friday 7:am to 3:30pm with some occasional OT

The pay rate for this role is $27 hourly.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the Novarc robotic welder, training provided.
• Perform specialty welding tasks; hand welding of all fittings, mechanical branch outlet nozzles, threadolets, pipe fitting fit-ups, and tack and root welding.
• Inspect work for defects, dimensions, alignment, end preparations, and seam splits in pipe.
• Maintain a clean and safe welding station while conforming to Ferguson’s standards of quality and performance.
• Reports all equipment malfunctions, safety issues, and required repairs.
• Assist in all aspects of the shop when not welding such as groove assemblies, thread assemblies, hanger assemblies, etc.

Qualifications

• 3 years pipe welding / pipe fitting experience in either the commercial or industrial HVAC industry required. Graduate from technical college in pipe welding with minimum of 1 year field experience in pipe trades will also be considered.
• Stick electrode welding experience required.
• GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) experience preferred.
• TIG and MIG experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Attention to detail, integrity and professionalism.
