Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for processing bankruptcies for customer AR accounts and providing customer service support for AR account management and credit reporting issues. It also assists customers and stores with online and telephone payments.   

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

50%

  • Manage AR accounts filing for bankruptcy.  File claims and reaffirmation agreements online

  •  Negotiate with attorneys, trustees, and bankruptcy courts

  • Provide next step direction to stores with collection or write-off instruction

50%

  • Provide telephone assistance to Les Schwab credit customers for online and telephone bill pay and post payments for customers through our online payment solution

  • Provide technical support to customers needing help with our online payment solution

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent, some college preferred

Required Technical Skills/Knowledge:

  • Proficient in customer service-related business

  • Knowledgeable in Google and Microsoft Office applications is desired

  • Experienced entering data into computer systems

Physical Requirements:

  • This is primarily a desk position, regularly required to sit and occasionally to stand and walk

  • Requires frequent and repetitive use of hands and fingers to operate computer, mouse, keyboard, and office-related equipment and the ability to reach with hands and arms

  • The position requires lifting at most 20 pounds

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close visual acuity and the ability to adjust focus

  • Requires the ability to communicate verbally and exchange information over the phone and in person

Work Environment:

  • Office, non-manual work; the worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
