Title: Vice President, Shaw Floors Brand Leader
Summary
As Vice President and Brand Leader of Shaw Floors, you will serve as the general manager responsible for driving the brand’s business strategy, execution, and financial performance. The key KPI for success is meeting or exceeding the brand’s financial targets.
You will steward the full P&L, set strategic direction, and lead cross-functional teams across product, marketing, go to market, and brand experience. The Shaw Floors Brand Leader must lead a high-performing Shaw Floors team and work collaboratively across the enterprise. This position not only leads the Shaw Floors Brand but must be a leader committed to Shaw's overall success that helps drive a portfolio optimization mindset.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the General Manager responsible for all aspects of driving the Shaw Floors business, as well as the P&L. Their main KPI will be to establish and deliver the brand’s financial targets.
Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy for Shaw Floors based on consumer and customer insights, defining brand direction, identity, and guidelines
Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis for the brand to inform strategic brand decisions
Define and target specific consumer/influencer groups with a full funnel marketing plan
Oversee the lifecycle of products from launch through end-of-life, driving product innovation based on insights, ensuring alignment with market trends, and ensuring the product offering is simple but comprehensive of customer needs.
Enhance brand presence through event marketing, strategic partnerships, and and/or category-specific initiatives
Provide necessary support and tools for the Sales teams, including creation of sell in materials for new products and other collateral
Collaborate with the Pricing Lead to establish and maintain profitable and competitive pricing and promotional strategies for the brand
Monitor and analyze brand and category performance, implementing corrective actions when necessary to achieve business goals
Lead a team of marketing and product experts setting objectives, coaching, and providing personal development.
This role reports to the SVP, Marketing and Brands.
Qualifications:
Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management or similar relevant subject; MBA preferred
10+ years of relevant experience in brand management, marketing, product management, channel management or similar; preferred experience in home building/renovation products
Strong leadership skills with 5+ years leading people and teams
Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills
Ability to leverage data and insights to create and clearly articulate a brand vision, strategy, and category-specific plans, as well as operationalize those plans
