Flowserve Corporation, a leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow management products and services, has an exciting opportunity for a Project Application Engineer Co-op to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role offers hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of our organization, with a focus on capital projects supporting engineering contractors and major Oil & Gas clients around the world.

This will be for June 2026 (Summer)

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of technical tasks under limited scope and direct supervision.

• Analyze customer specifications and process conditions to identify engineered pump solutions that deliver optimal hydraulic performance in petroleum processing applications.

• Review inquiry documentation and collaborate across disciplines to support the preparation of technical proposals for original equipment.

• Support general project-related duties, including contract processing and transitioning project deliverables to operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong command of the English language – written and verbal

• Basic mechanical aptitude

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Education & Program Requirements

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent field)

• Minimum two years of coursework completed

• Must be enrolled in a university-approved Co-op program
