Now Hiring: Production Manufacturing Supervisor (Day Shift) | Flowserve – Houston Texas

Join Flowserve, a global leader in flow control solutions, as our next Production Manufacturing Supervisor (Coating Welding & Lapping). In this critical, onsite role, you’ll lead daily operations across production, inventory, and quality—all while driving continuous improvement and safety.

🕗 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day production activities across multiple work centers

• Drive efficiency and quality using lean manufacturing tools (AMEF, VSM, 6S, SMED, etc.)

• Monitor and improve KPIs including utilization, productivity, scrap, and rework

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and streamline processes

• Plan production schedules and manage inventory to meet operational goals

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards (ISO 9000/14000)

• Use tools like Excel and Microsoft Project to track and report on performance

Required Experience:

• 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

• Working knowledge of CNC programming and statistical process control

• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project (or similar tools)

• Experience with Thermal spray coating 

• Experience with Welding

• Experience with Lapping

• Bonus: Familiarity with welding standards (AWS, ASME)
