🧭 Key Responsibilities
🦷 Perform professional cleanings and empower patients with education on brushing, flossing, and nutrition.
🦷 Apply fluoride, place sealants, and screen for oral diseases and health concerns.
🦷 Conduct radiographs, perform scaling, root planing, and provide comprehensive periodontal care.
🦷 Administer local anesthetics and assist with surgical techniques (if qualified).
🦷 Record accurate patient histories and develop individualized care plans.
🦷 Deliver preventive and therapeutic treatments while motivating patients toward lifelong oral health.
🦷 Maintain detailed and timely documentation (15% of time reserved for charting).
🦷 Mentor dental assistants and contribute to a positive, collaborative clinic environment.
🦷 Participate in outreach and oral health education initiatives.
🦷 Support overall clinic operations and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
🎓 Education & Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Dental Hygiene
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the State of Missouri
Current CPR certification
Experience preferred — but not required!
Willingness to obtain additional state licensure if needed
Comfortable providing telehealth services as required

Comprehensive knowledge of dental hygiene techniques, instruments, and materials
Strong patient education and communication skills
Ability to build trusted relationships with patients and staff
