Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician I

Location: Quincy, IL
Department: Residential – substance use disorder (SUD)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift: Overnight shift with alternating weekend coverage

  • Must be at least 21 years old

  • On-call availability required

  • On-the-job training provided

Position Overview:

Clarity Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our Residential SUD team in Quincy, IL. In this role, you will provide direct care and support to clients, contribute to treatment planning, and help maintain a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment for individuals on their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support: Provide direct care and assistance with daily living activities to promote independence and well-being.

  • Treatment Collaboration: Participate in treatment team meetings to identify client strengths, needs, and preferences.

  • Program Compliance: Monitor and report client behaviors to ensure adherence to program rules and therapeutic goals.

  • Medication Oversight: Follow medication policies and coordinate with nursing staff for proper administration.

  • Client Intake & Orientation: Assist with admissions, including vital signs, safety searches, and specimen collection.

  • Transportation: Provide transportation for clients as needed.

  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Minimum of two (2) years of consistent employment history preferred

  • Must be at least 21 years old

  • On-call availability required

  • On-the-job training provided

  • Basic computer proficiency

  • Prior experience in behavioral health or a related field is a plus
