VCA Bloomington Animal Hospital is expanding its Veterinary Technician team and is currently seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join us!

Schedule: Full-time opportunities available, 4 x 10 hour days. Not looking to be scheduled for 40 hours? No problem!

Compensation: Pay range starting at $21- $26 hr

Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.

Overall Responsibility:  Our Certified Veterinary Technicians deliver compassionate, high-quality care to every patient. We foster a progressive learning environment that supports your career growth and encourages you to fully utilize and expand your technical skills.

• Assist doctors with exams, treatments and procedures.
• Venipuncture and IVC placement
• Administer SQ fluids, medications, etc.
• Work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients are receiving the best possible care and communicating frequently with the team.
• Recognize subtle change in clinical status.
• Discharge instructions with clients when they are able to bring their furry family member back home with them.
• Complete estimates, basic record keeping.
• Surgical preparation and assisting.
• Anesthesia monitoring.
• Dentistry and dental radiographs
• Diagnostic imaging
