Overview:
Jihyun Jang's Lab is looking for a postdoctoral fellow to investigate epitranscriptomic regulation in congenital heart disease, including pediatric dilated cardiomyopathy. Our lab focuses on how RNA modifications (e.g., m6A methylation) regulate cardiac development and disease progression. Using human iPSC-derived cardiac organoids and genetically engineered mouse models, we aim to define how post-transcriptional control of RNA metabolism shapes heart morphogenesis and contributes to congenital heart defects.
