Job Snapshot:

The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to: 

• Laboratory/diagnostic duties.
• Assist veterinarians in surgical procedures, including prepping animals, monitoring anesthesia, and providing post-operative care.
• Perform dental cleanings and dental radiographs under the supervision of a veterinarian.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
• Monitor vital signs and provide compassionate care to animals throughout their stay in the surgery and dentistry department.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
• Create detailed medical discharge instructions for clients.
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placements
• Physical examinations and patient assessment.
• Maintaining proper sterile conditions.
