Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.

As a Therapist, you’ll provide counseling, psychotherapy, and other evidence-based interventions to help individuals, families, and couples address and overcome behavioral health challenges. Our ideal candidate is skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, with strong communication and collaboration skills to support clients’ growth and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, family, and/or other therapeutic counseling in a variety of settings.

  • Complete intakes, screenings, and/or comprehensive assessments within state and agency standards.

  • Determine and document diagnoses based on comprehensive assessments.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans that evolve based on client needs and progress.

  • Participate in clinical staffings and treatment meetings, offering feedback on pertinent cases.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure authorized services are delivered accurately and timely.

  • Document all services provided in accordance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

  • Correct charting deficiencies promptly to maintain compliance standards.

  • Support client transitions by completing final correspondence (transition summaries, plans, letters).

  • Handle crisis situations, coordinating emergency services when necessary.

  • Facilitate therapeutic group sessions, family therapy, and specialized interventions such as trauma and co-occurring treatment.

  • Provide clinical consultation to team members and supervise trainees when licensure requirements are met.

  • Represent Adult & Child Health in the community in a professional manner.

  • Participate in mandatory training, professional development, and continuing education.

  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.
     

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.

  • Licensure with the applicable Indiana professional board as one of the following:

    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

  • Must be willing to pursue additional state licensures if required.

  • Comfortable providing telehealth services (training provided).
     

Additional Qualifications:

  • Expertise in diagnostic criteria for substance use and/or mental health disorders.

  • Knowledge of evidence-based rehabilitation methods and treatment modalities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including clinical documentation.

  • Ability to establish effective therapeutic relationships in-person and via telehealth.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with ability to follow direction and supervision.
