Why is this role important to us?
The Senior Operational Excellence Specialist plays a critical supporting and enabling role within SimCorp’s PaaS operations, acting as a trusted deputy to the Lead Operational Excellence function and a stabilising force in day‑to‑day operational execution.
This position centers on incident response and operational execution, offering seasoned leadership during major incidents to maintain consistency, discipline, and compliance with IT service management standards and to drive effective outcomes. The Senior Specialist supports the Lead by taking ownership of execution, coordination, and follow‑through, allowing the Lead to focus on strategic oversight, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement across the broader landscape.
