The Clinical Provider position is dedicated to guiding and assisting individuals with mental health and substance use disorders according to their treatment plans. You will play a pivotal role in empowering clients to enhance their day-to-day functioning within both their personal and professional environments. Key Responsibilities: • Participate in the screening and assessment processes with licensed counselors to ensure timely evaluations. • Develop treatment plans that reflect clients' evolving needs based on thorough assessments. • Document all provided services promptly and in alignment with regulatory standards. • Engage in clinical staffing and team meetings to provide insightful feedback on important cases. • Facilitate group counseling, family conferences, and individual sessions to enhance recovery skills. • Maintain professional relationships with clients, coworkers, and referral sources, adhering to ethical standards. • Handle crisis situations as they arise, informing team leaders as necessary. • Manage the transition process for clients, ensuring comprehensive documentation and support.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications: • Associate’s degree or high school diploma/equivalent required. • Trainee must meet registration, supervision, and professional development requirements by either: - The Missouri Credentialing Board, Inc. - The appropriate board of professional registration with the Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions, and Professional Registration. • Associate Counselors must be supervised by a Qualified Addiction Professional who has completed MCB Clinical Supervision Training. • Obtain CADC in Illinois within 2 years if applicable, and renew as required. • Must be willing to become credentialed in additional states and provide telehealth services.
Additional Qualifications: • Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, and fingerprint checks. • Current driver’s license in state of residency, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance. • First Aid and CPR certification required within three months of employment. • Completion of annual training requirements including Relias training.
Physical Requirements: ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (exists 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
