Job Title: Senior Engineer
Reports to: Manager-Project Development & Asset Mgmt
Reports in office to 100 Marsh Hill Road Orange CT or East Hartford, CT
The salary range for this position is dependent on location and experience level ranging from $90,000 - $118,113
Job Summary
The Senior Engineer will conduct needs and solutions studies, develop engineered solutions to address electric system needs; prioritize capital projects; develop a long-term plan for implementation; and contribute to the development of internal resources. This will include preparing detailed documentation of strategy for ensuring system reliability and resiliency, and justification for proposed projects. This is a collaborative role which supports many business areas within United Illuminating such as maintenance, operations, protection & controls, transmission & distribution planning.
