VCA Ark Animal Hospital is growing, and we’re looking for a Veterinary

Assistant to join our team!

Schedule: Full-time with rotating Saturdays.

Compensation: $18 - $24 / hr. Pay range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.

As part of our Patient Care Team, you’ll play a key role in delivering top-notch care to our patients and outstanding service to our clients.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Performing diagnostics (blood draws, cystocentesis, fecal exams, cytologies)
• Placing IV catheters and administering medications via various routes
• Monitoring anesthesia and assisting in surgical prep and recovery
• Performing dental cleanings and dental radiographs
• Supporting DVMs during exams and procedures
• Educating clients and providing discharge instructions
• Accurately recording patient notes in electronic medical records
