Join our team in the St. Louis as a Nurse with our Adult Community Services team! 

 

As a Nurse, you'll complete standard nursing duties, including temperature and blood pressure checks, interview clients and families to gather medical and medication history, provide required documentation, keep records updated, monitor medical administration records (MARs) and physician orders (POs), and function as a resource for nursing and anything involving medical matters within a Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm schedule. Our ideal candidate has a thorough knowledge of nursing principles, demonstrates strong communication and collaboration skills, and possesses the ability to maintain calm and professionalism in various situations.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Complete standard nursing duties (temperature and blood pressure checks, etc.)

Education and/or Experience Qualifications: 

  • Current Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in the state of Missouri 

 

 

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrate the ability to operate a computer and various software applications 

  • Communicate ideas clearly and effectively 

  • Demonstrate good judgment and discernment in dealing with people 

  • Ability to work with information in a confidential manner 

  • Strong time management skills to complete all required documentation in a timely manner and manage multiple tasks 

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective communications and working relationships with other associates, clients, family members, outside entities, and the general public 

  • Maintain a positive attitude in the work environment 

  • Flexible and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment while maintaining effectiveness and efficiency 

  • Understand and work with people of various socio-economic statuses with dignity
