What You’ll Do

As a Crisis Response Clinician, you will respond to and support individuals experiencing behavioral health crises in real time.

Crisis Assessment & Intervention

  • Conduct comprehensive crisis assessments to determine immediate needs and level of risk
  • Provide on-the-spot crisis intervention to ensure client safety and stabilization
  • Support individuals and families through de-escalation and emotional support

Treatment Planning & Support

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment and safety plans
  • Connect clients to appropriate ongoing services and community resources
  • Provide guidance to families and support systems during crisis situations

Collaboration & Care Coordination

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, community partners, and referral sources
  • Coordinate care to ensure clients receive timely and appropriate follow-up services

Documentation & Compliance

  • Complete accurate, timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and services
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards

What We’re Looking For

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
    • Social Work
    • Counseling
    • Psychology
    • Or a related behavioral health field

Licensure (Preferred)

  • LCSW, LMHC/LPC, LMFT, or equivalent Indiana licensure
  • License-eligible candidates encouraged to apply (if applicable)

Experience

  • Experience in crisis intervention, emergency services, or behavioral health preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to meet background screening requirements
  • Comfortable working in community-based settings

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
