As a Clinical Provider Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding Clinical Providers while providing therapy to clients in need. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide supervision to the Clinical Providers, ensuring regular individual supervisory sessions and team meetings.
• Assist Clinical Providers in effective time management in alignment with DMH standards and departmental needs.
• Deliver individual, group, family, and practical counseling, adjusting to the needs of clients and treatment goals.
• Present educational material in public forums to promote community understanding of mental health issues.
• Manage cases and participate in staffing to establish treatment goals and objectives.
• Respond to emotional crises as part of emergency services.
• Coordinate follow-up efforts for all clients under your responsibility.
• Review and monitor documentation for compliance, providing corrective feedback when necessary.
• Participate in hiring and staff development activities, including new hire training.
• Engage in Quality Assurance procedures and data collection.
• Conduct self-evaluations and evaluations of assigned staff regularly.
• Perform additional special functions as needed.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field, or a licensed professional with post-licensure mental health experience.
• Active mental health license in Missouri: Psychologist, LMSW, LCSW, PLPC, LPC.
Additional Qualifications:
• Successful completion of a background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check.
• Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
Physical Requirements
• Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, or pull.
• Involves primarily sitting, with occasional walking or standing.
