Are you ready to dive into the world of robotics and automation within the pharmaceutical industry? Alexion’s Product Development and Clinical Supply (PDCS) organization is on the lookout for a rising undergraduate junior or senior, or a graduate student pursuing a degree in science or engineering fields such as chemistry, biology, computer science, chemical, electrical, or mechanical engineering, robotics, or an equivalent field. Join us for a 6-month co-op program in Spring 2026 with the Synthetic Product Development (SPD) Team Automation Group. This is your chance to be part of a multidisciplinary team that delivers process and product development solutions for synthetic drug substances and oral drug products, from preclinical development to commercial launch. You'll gain hands-on experience automating tasks traditionally performed manually by scientists, collaborating with both internal teams and external automation vendors!

When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we spark bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines. In-person working gives us the platform we need to connect, work at pace and challenge perceptions. That's why we work, on average, a minimum of four days per week from the office. But that doesn't mean we're not flexible. We balance the expectation of being in the office while respecting individual flexibility. Join us in our unique and ambitious world.
At AstraZeneca, you'll find an environment where innovation thrives. Our commitment to patients drives us to push boundaries and redefine possibilities in healthcare. With a rapidly expanding portfolio, you'll enjoy the entrepreneurial spirit of a leading biotech combined with the resources of a global pharma.
