About VCA Fairway Animal Hospital

At VCA Fairway Animal Hospital, you’ll join a 7-doctor team that focuses on general practice and preventive care. We are proud to be AAHA-accredited and practice Fear Free and low-stress handling.

As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting both patient care and the client experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with animals, being part of a team, and gaining hands-on experience in a veterinary setting.

What You’ll Do

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care
• Safely restrain pets during exams and procedures
• Prepare exam rooms and equipment
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain hospital areas
• Support feeding, walking, and general animal care
• Help create a positive and welcoming experience for clients

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in animal care or a veterinary setting
• Passion for working with animals and supporting a team

Schedule
Full-time, 4 x 10-hour shifts

Compensation

$ 15 - 18/hr and starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.
