Clinical Provider Supervisor

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | In-Person
Location: Quincy, IL

Position Overview

The Clinical Provider Supervisor provides clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship to a team of Clinical Providers while maintaining a limited caseload to support ongoing clinical engagement. This newly created, full‑time leadership role supports the continued expansion of Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) services.

The Clinical Provider Supervisor is expected to carry a small, manageable caseload that allows for direct service delivery while prioritizing supervisory, leadership, and programmatic responsibilities.

This position is ideal for a fully licensed clinician who is passionate about leading others, strengthening clinical quality, and advancing person‑centered, recovery‑oriented care. The Clinical Provider Supervisor plays a key role in advancing Centerstone’s mission of delivering compassionate, comprehensive mental health services that promote recovery, resilience, and whole‑person wellness.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership & Supervision

  • Provide reflective, strengths‑based clinical supervision through regularly scheduled individual and team supervision

  • Support clinicians in meeting productivity, documentation, and clinical expectations aligned with DMH standards, CCBHC requirements, and Centerstone values

  • Review clinical documentation for quality, timeliness, and compliance; provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action as needed

  • Participate in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of clinical staff

  • Foster a collaborative, trauma‑informed, and recovery‑oriented team culture

Direct Client Care

  • Provide individual, group, family, and other clinically indicated services consistent with licensure and scope of practice

  • Maintain a limited caseload, determined by leadership, to remain clinically engaged while prioritizing supervisory responsibilities

  • Participate in client staffing, treatment planning, and coordination of care across systems

  • Respond to crisis and emergency situations with timely, compassionate intervention

  • Ensure continuity of care and appropriate follow‑up services

Program Development, Quality & Community Engagement

  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and enhancement of CCBHC services

  • Support implementation of best practices and continuous quality improvement initiatives

  • Participate in data collection, outcomes tracking, utilization review, and program evaluation

  • Support Quality Assurance activities, including chart reviews and QA case presentations

  • Provide community education and outreach, as appropriate, to enhance understanding of mental health and recovery‑focused services

Administrative & Organizational Responsibilities

  • Report critical incidents and clinical concerns in accordance with policy
  • Review and approve travel vouchers for accuracy and medical necessity
  • Participate in required meetings, trainings, and organizational initiatives
  • Support staff development, including new hire orientation and ongoing clinical training
  • Demonstrate responsiveness to operational needs, regulatory standards, and organizational priorities

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral health field
  • Active, independent Illinois licensure required (LCSW, LCPC, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist)
  • Post‑licensure clinical experience required
  • Prior clinical supervision or leadership experience preferred

Supervisory Expectations

  • Communicate organizational goals and align team efforts with Centerstone’s mission and values
  • Provide leadership and oversight of day‑to‑day clinical operations
  • Encourage engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Address performance and staff concerns collaboratively in partnership with Human Resources
  • Champion innovation and support change initiatives related to CCBHC growth and expansion

Employment Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Current auto insurance

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $70,000–$80,000 (based on licensure and experience)
  • 29 days of PTO
