We are currently accepting resumes for a Part-Time Leasing Consultant responsible for leasing at one of our apartment communities: Ray and Platform Apartments

Job Description: 

The most ideal candidate will be sales & customer service driven, able to work independently, possess detailed and organized administrative abilities and will be knowledgeable in the business of property management. Candidate must work well with team members in order to keep the communities running smoothly. 

In addition to the listed base hourly rate, this position pays commissions on move-ins and lease renewals.  

Specific Duties Include: 

  • Respond to all prospect calls, walk in visits, and email inquiries. 

  • Answer phones properly in a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable manner. 

  • Pre-qualify prospects, set up appointments with prospects, provide tours of available apartments. 

  • Document all information including all follow-up correspondence in our database. 

  • Assist rental applicants with the online application if necessary 

  • Maintain and follow up with all leasing/application paperwork in a timely manner. 

  • Adhere to all Fair Housing laws and regulations. 

  • Update records of vacant, rent ready and occupied-on-notice available units 

  • Review, update and post ILS ads daily 

  • Record all lead traffic and track source of traffic 

  • Monitor supplies, forms and marketing materials 

  • Create and implement strategies to increase resident retention (host resident events, contests, etc.) 

  • Other duties as assigned and based on changing business needs 

 

Position Qualifications: 

  • Leasing experience (preferred) 

  • Customer service experience (required) 

  • Computer software proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) 

  • Yardi real estate software knowledge (preferred) 

  • Knowledge of Federal and local Equal Housing laws 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities 

 

Schedule: 

Saturday: 10am-4pm

Sunday: 10am-4pm

Monday: 9am-5pm

Plus additional days as needed. This role would be 24-30 hours per week.
