Job Summary
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, organizing, and shipping goods within a warehouse environment. This role ensures inventory accuracy, on-time order fulfillment, and the safe, efficient operation of warehouse equipment. Warehouse Workers play a critical role in maintaining smooth supply chain operations and supporting overall company logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Inspection
Unload incoming shipments using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment.
Inspect incoming goods for damage, quantity discrepancies, or incorrect items.
Verify and record received items in warehouse management systems (WMS) .
Label and route received materials to appropriate storage areas.
Inventory Management
Accurately pick items from stock according to order requirements, pick lists.
Perform cycle counts and assist with full physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
Restock shelves and storage locations following FIFO/FEFO or other inventory rotation standards.
Report inventory shortages, overages, or damaged products to supervisors.
Order Fulfillment & Shipping
Assemble, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer or internal specifications.
Ensure packaging integrity and accuracy of order contents, labels, and documentation.
Load completed orders onto trucks or staging areas using appropriate equipment.
Work with shipping teams to ensure timely carrier pickups and delivery scheduling.
Warehouse Organization & Maintenance
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace according to company and regulatory standards.
Dispose of waste materials, pallets, shrink wrap, and other recyclables safely.
Follow established storage layout plans to optimize workflow and space utilization.
Assist with rearranging warehouse inventory and reorganizing racks as needed.
Equipment Operation
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, or other warehouse machinery (with proper certification).
Perform routine equipment inspections and report malfunctions promptly.
Follow all equipment operating guidelines and safety procedures.
Safety & Compliance
Adhere to OSHA standards, company safety policies, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and emergency drills.
Report any hazards, accidents, or unsafe practices immediately.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift 30–70 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
Basic math, reading, and communication skills.
Ability to operate material-handling equipment (or willingness to be trained).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
Previous warehouse, logistics, or supply chain experience.
Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Forklift certification.
Work Environment
Fast-paced warehouse or distribution center setting.
Exposure to varying temperatures depending on the facility (general, refrigerated, or outdoor).
Regular use of computers, and material-handling equipment.
Typical Schedule
Full-time.
May require evenings, weekends, overtime, or holiday hours depending on business needs.

The base pay range for this position is:
Min $48,080 - Max $72,120Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
