Then come and join our global team as Chief Clinical Officer (f/m/d) as key member of the  ‘Digitally-enabled Services’ team with the objective of defining the overall clinical direction of the organization. In addition, this position leads the overall clinical and scientific vision, providing medical oversight, expertise and leadership to ensure the delivery of digital services with the highest quality, safety and effectiveness that enhance patient outcomes and support physicians’ decisions.


Your tasks and responsibilities:
 

  • You lead the medical and clinical direction for Digitally-enabled Services.
  • You participate in strategic planning to define strategy and execution plans.
  • You manage clinical team members who oversee specific clinical areas.
  • You provide expert advice to senior management on industry and radiology trends, and offer recommendations for portfolio and strategic roadmap decisions.
  • You escalate service-related health or public safety topics directly to the Head of Digitally-enabled Services.
  • You support relationships with key opinion leaders and top physicians to advance technology, clinical research, and product development objectives.
  • You represent patient feedback and needs to senior management.
  • You build strong relationships with key customers to drive success and ensure quality management.
  • You serve as the medical expert for internal and external activities, including advisory board meetings, faculty training, clinical education, service design, and launch strategies for future products and indications.
  • You drive clinical and scientific publications to demonstrate the value of service products.
  • You offer technical opinions based on subject matter expertise for white papers, industry journals, and speaking engagements.
  • You provide leadership and guidance on clinical risk and manage interactions with FDA and other regulatory bodies pre- and post-market.
  • You participate in clinical trial design, data analysis, and interpretation.
  • You identify opportunities to collaborate and develop clinical integration programs with healthcare providers.

Your qualifications and experience:
 

  • You hold an MD degree, ideally with Board Certification and ongoing accreditation by globally recognized bodies; an active clinical role is strongly preferred.
  • You demonstrate success in building and transforming medical teams.
  • You bring professional experience in the MedTech sector and digital innovations.
  • You have proven experience in establishing and maintaining collaborations.
  • You possess a strong track record of leading clinical research, supported by peer-reviewed publications and presentations.
  • Ideally, you have knowledge of Siemens Healthineers products and services.

  • You have excellent English skills, essential for working in an international environment.
  • You possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • You ensure attention to quality, safety, and effectiveness in all initiatives.
  • You bring experience in starting and/or running Medical, Clinical, and Scientific Affairs organizations.
  • You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary, global team within a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • You demonstrate strategic thinking in planning and timely execution of projects, as well as in engaging with team members and customers.
  • You are willing to travel and enjoy doing so as required by projects.
  • You have experience with approaches in the field; currently practicing and seeing patients is preferred.
  • You establish credibility and build strong relationships with senior leadership.
  • You exhibit proven management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • You think strategically and innovatively, with the ability to communicate a vision and drive results.

Depending on the experience and qualifications background of the applicant, task enrichment into the area above the general pay scale is possible.

The pay range for this position is $350,000 - $450,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The base pay range for this position is:

$232,080 - $319,110

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
