MB Branch Manager

Reports to:

Senior Commercial Banker

Business Development:

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow the branch’s customer base and deposit portfolio.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to deepen relationships with existing customers and attract new business clients.
  • Represent the bank at community and networking events to promote services and build relationships with local businesses and organizations.

Branch Operations and Performance:

  • Ensure the branch meets or exceeds established financial goals, including revenue, deposit growth, and loan production targets.
  • Monitor and analyze branch performance metrics and implement action plans to address areas for improvement.
  • Oversee daily branch operations, including cash handling, security, and transaction processing.
  • Manage expense budgets to optimize profitability while maintaining operational efficiency.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor branch staff to develop a high-performing and customer-focused team.
  • Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement.
  • Address employee concerns and provide guidance to support professional development.

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Champion a culture of exceptional customer service by modeling and reinforcing high standards.
  • Address escalated customer issues and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Gather customer feedback to identify opportunities for service improvements and innovation.

Community Engagement:

  • Act as a visible and active member of the community, participating in local events and charitable initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community leaders and organizations to enhance the bank’s reputation and identify partnership opportunities.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all branch activities adhere to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain a compliant and secure branch environment.
  • Stay informed about changes in banking regulations and ensure staff training on compliance updates.
